LOGO DESIGN FOR MOJO PIZZA N’ PUB

The owners of the restaurant asked me to design a new logo for a beautiful sign post they were installing, and the shape had to be round to fit. After exploring many concepts, I graphically combined the idea of pizza and pub into one. The red circular base was an obvious choice to imply “pizza”, then I added the broken textured border that’s often found on the bottom ridge of a beer bottle to imply “pub”. The font choice offers up a variety of fun shapes implying pizza slices.
